Exciting Presentation by Jacob Hudson, Amazon Explorer and Guinness World Record Holder followed by our AGM

Monday March 17th, 7.45pm for 8pm Robert Monk Hall.

Jacob, who used to live in Foxton, recently completed an amazing journey in Suriname. With his team mates, they set two Guinness world records. The first record being to climb and summit the highest mountain in Suriname, Julainatop, which they successfully achieved in 5 days. The team then discovered the source of the Coppename River and set about the endurance part of their expedition; to kayak over 500KM from source to sea of the Coppename River. He is coming to talk to us about his adventures.This will be followed by the Foxton Society AGM at 9pm (hopefully very short!) and refreshments.Everyone is welcome.
